Luggage tags?

Wanted to see what everyone else is doing with the luggage tags from DCL. We arrive in Barcelona a couple days before our cruise so should we still attach the tags before we leave or wait until the morning at the port?

If you are still in town, I was told to wait till you arrive at the port.

Wait until you leave to go to the port. That way you have less of a chance of losing them and you won't forget to put them on. (Yes, it has happened in the excitement.)

We flew into Barcelona a day early, so I just put the luggage tags in with our important papers that were in my carry-on bag. We had DCL hotel / transfers, so that night I put the luggage tags on so they would be ready for pick up at the hotel for transfer to the ship. The information that came with our documents had different instructions for if you were arriving in Barcelona by plane on the day of embarkation.

If you are getting to the port on your own, I would suggest doing the same thing - put the luggage tags on prior to your arrival at the port on embarkation day, and then when you check your bags at the port, they'll know where to deliver them

Ok thanks for the replies. I'll stick them on at the hotel the night before we leave for the port.

NZDISNEYMOM....do you mind me asking you where you stayed in Barcelona? We are going through Disney and staying at the Hesperia Presidente. Wondered what it was like.

Also, what time did you leave for the port with Disney?
