Luggage Tags after cancellation and rebooking

Just curious if anyone has been through this: We were supposed to sail on Fantasy for July 4 (7 day W. Caribbean). Unfortunately, one in our party got covid and we had to reschedule to Aug. 12 on the same cruise. We received luggage tags for our July 4 cruise in a timely manner, but we have not yet received the new/revised tags for our Aug. 12 cruise.

Does anyone know if they send you new ones? I cant imagine you can use the old ones since the dates of the cruise are printed on it.
 
We had a similar situation to this but with a room change.

Long story short, if you don't get luggage tags in advance, they can always give tags to you when you arrive at the port and will write the stateroom number on the tag and scan it in appropriately. We have never had issues with the tags they hand out if you forget yours/need new ones.

I would encourage you to throw away the old tags. Putting the ones for the no longer active reservation will most likely just end up with delays in getting you your luggage/more problems.
 
Normally, you would get new luggage tags for your new cruise. However, because the new cruise is so close to the previous cruise, you may be past the time when the luggage tags for the August 12 cruise were sent.

If you don't have new tags before your sailing, just ask the porters at the port for new tags when you arrive for your cruise.
