Luggage Tag Q.

We are planning on using the luggage service this year. We are checking 2 regular suitcases & a duffel style bag that has wheels & a handle that pulls out to pull it with. The duffel bag has the 2 handles kind of like this:

Where do you put the yellow luggage tags? On the handles that you carry it with or the handle that pulls out. We've never checked this bag before.

I'd put it on the handles, not the pull-out, but don't know if there's a set rule about it. I think that's where the airline would put their tags too.

Maybe I'll save that tag & when we get to the airport I'll see where they put theirs on & put the yellow tag in the same place.

It looks like there are two handles on the ends of the bag, one near the wheels and the other near the pull out handle. If so I'd use the one near the pull out handle for the tag.

There's no handle near the pull out on mine, just the 2 handles at the top that pull together. There used to be an over the shoulder long strap but I removed it. So on mine there's just the pullout handle, no extra handle there.

Put it on the two that come together (the ones at the top of the bag in the picture). We all know how "gentle" baggage handlers can be - I've seen them completely yank off the pull out handle.
