Luggage storage ?'s

we stored all of our luggage in the closet last cruise and it was not a great place for it. I have been told that luggage will fit under the bed? What size luggage have people put under the bed? a 26" or just small rollerbags? Do you have to lift the bed up to get the luggage under or does it just store under the bed no problem? Anything I left out ??

We've been able to fit some very large bags under the bed. They might not slide right under, but the corner of the bed lifts up easily to put them under. If you bag is too thick you can always open it up and slide it under that way. On our last cruise (a 10 day) we fit a large pullman, a small rollaway and two garment bags (the good durable kind) under the bed with no problem.

We put a 25" and a 30" bag under the bed. It slid in from the side--lifted just a little to get it past the frame of the bed, then slid easily. Another hint--after safety drill, shove the life jackets under the bed...makes more closet room.
