Luggage storage at restaurants?

We have an ADR for our departure morning, but will not be done in time to go back to the resort and get our luggage before checkout time. Is there anywhere to store luggage while we eat? I would prefer not to have to lug our bags when we go eat.

You can check them with bell services where you are dining which will mean you'll have to drive or take a taxi/uber to the other resort since you can't bring luggage on the buses.

You can leave your luggage with bell services past the hotel's check-out time (I've done that). I would drop off the luggage at bell services, then head out to your ADR. Then after you're done eating, go back to your hotel and pick-up your luggage from bell services.

How are you getting to the resort where you are eating? I'm not sure you can take luggage on the resort/park busses.

Just check them at your resort before you head out for breakfast, then just pick them back up before you head out.

We do this all the time when traveling.

I spot pack as we go along so not so much to do on the night before check out. The night before check out, I get everything ready, leaving out clothes for the next day, double checking and rechecking the carry on bags so that you have your kiddos and yourself in check for the flight home, keep medicine, cash/ CC, passports with you and all airline ticket/info with you .... you might want to leave room in carry on to add in any souvenirs you might pick up. A co-worker once packed all her airline and passport in the checked bag and blood pressure med's... they had to almost unpack DME to get to her bag...

I'm pretty sure the OP said they're not going back to their resort. I would simply ask the breakfast resort, if they can hold a piece of luggage while you eat. I bet they will. Or, I've seen people roll in their carry ons to breakfast too, if its small enough, it wouldn't bother anyone right next to you. Ask at the check in desk at breakfast.

This is not an ADR I would do unless I had a car (with a trunk) to leave bags in.

Which really makes me wonder how the op is getting to the airport and the restaurant. DME only picks up at the resort you've been staying at. And you can't take luggage on the WDW transportation.

Not an option if they are using Disney transportation to get to the ADR, since luggage isn't allowed on the park/resort buses.

Plus, if you wait until you get there and ask the check in desk at breakfast and they say "no", what are you going to do then?

A couple of questions: What resort are you dining at? How are you planning on getting to the airport?

You cannot bring luggage on the park buses, so how are you getting to your ADR? Cab/Uber? You can give your bags to bell services at that resort, but then again, how are you getting to the airport? You cannot take Magical Express from any resort except the one you are booked at.

1) No.
2) These are eateries, not luggage depositories.
.
3) Plan ahead.
4) There are LOTS of options at your WDW resort.
. . . bringing luggage into a park is EXTEREMELY difficult with the new security policies.
. . . if at a resort eatery, just leave them with Guest Services at the new resort
. . . otherwise, leave your luggage with Guest Services or Bell Services at you current resort

They said they can't do that.

I read it as they have a later ADR, and would not be finished eating in time and would not make it back to the resort room before check out time at 11:00, was the OP's concern.... not that they could not return to the original resort at all.

Thanks for all of your replies. We have decided to cancel the ADR. :worried: Too much hassle on departure morning.

They will not. You cannot take luggage on Disney transportation, so I don't know how this can work on any level.
