Luggage service the last minute

Hi all! All the diligent planning and I completely forgot about signing up for the Magical Express. Called today and got it done, but too late for the luggage tags for the luggage service. Instead, got a paper where I enter in the luggage claim numbers with instructions to give this to Magical Express Cast Members upon arrival at the ME site. Am I going to have a bad experience due to this? I just picture my luggage sitting on the baggage carousel for a day or two due to the fact that there are no tags on there for the luggage service. Have any of you gone through this? If so, what should I expect?

It happens all the time. Yes, your bags will go to the baggage carousel. Airline personnel will take any 'unclaimed' luggage from the carousel. DME people know where to go to get these bags.
I haven't heard of anyone having an issue doing this. If you're concerned, just get the bags yourself and take them to the DME bus with you.

I had to do this method last trip.
We got some tags but not enough so I had to give them the tests for some of our bags
Worked great and the bags without yellow tags made it to our room before the ones with yellow tags
