luggage service between disney hotels

Suppose I am checking in for 1 night at pop century and then am switching over for a week to the contemporary, will they transport my luggage from pop to contemporary?

I'm not sure about the value resorts but they do it at the other hotels. (can't see why they wouldn't)
Last year we transfered from the Contemporary to AKL, it was great to get rid of the cases and go spend the day at the park. When we got to our room at the AKL we just phoned down and they brought them up. We always stay in more than one place so we buy hangers so we don't need to re-pack our stuff, they will take your clothes on the hangers also.

Yes we have done it from Pop to AKL. You need to set it up with bell services the night before and they will pick up your bags in your room and deliver them to CR for you. We left Pop at 9am (our bags were picked up by 8) we went to the parks and showed up at AKL around 2 and our room and bags were ready for us.

Wow, you got lucky!! From what I've been told, the values are much slower than the deluxes/moderates at getting bags to the next resort. Something about less manpower so they have set times to move stuff.
When I moved from BCV to POR, I handed off my luggage at 7:50 am. When I got to POR, around noon, I checked in and was told that my luggage had not arrived yet. No big deal since I had to wait for my room. My room was ready at 4:00, still no luggage. POR bell people called BCV to see what the hold up was...seems the folks at BCV were too 'busy' that day to move my luggage. Said they would get right on it. At 4:45, yet another call by a very embarrassed CM in bell services at POR. Nope, BCV hadn't moved it yet. It took until 5:30 to get the bags.
When I moved from BWV to POP, again, I handed off my bags at about 8 am...all two of them. I got to POP, around 1:00, checked in and had my room ready. I freshened up, had a quick nap (yes, I'm getting old!!), grabbed a bite to eat at the food court about 4:30 and then headed off to the parks for the night. When I returned around 9ish, my bags were inside my room.
Both times, I have been told by the person picking up my luggage that I shouldn't expect to see my bags at the next resort until mid-afternoon or so.
