luggage rack?

we've just bought our first mini-van and are planning to drive to wdw in november. the luggage rack is sure sporty looking, but i've never used one, lol!

have you used yours? how did you secure your luggage? i don't want to lose my unmentionables along the way!

hmm not sure, dw used ours for first time this eekend, we have a lugage bag that fits the rackand has strapping built into it to tie it off,, she says it worked well on the trip over to oklahoma with tents and suitcases in the bag and strapped off,, i think we aregoingto like it,, we got the bag at wal mart in automotive dept, am sure there is similar product available at any dept store

I have one just like Froogy got and from walart to. It worked out pretty good. There is a bar on the luggage rack to adjust the tightness so it stayed secure.
The only problem was getting into it on the way down. Next time it was used, I kept a suitcase behind the back seat with stuff we might need on the way.
