Luggage Question

Okay Dis Board experts. . . . Here's one for you. . . .

My wife and I are driving to Disney World and staying at Wilderness Lodge 12/23 - 12/25. We are then taking the Disney Cruise 12/26 - 12/29. We are then going to Animal Kingdom Lodge on 12/29 - 1/1/12.

Here's the question. . . . Can we take some of our luggage over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to hold for us until we check-in. Even better, can we ask them to transfer the luggage from Wilderness Lodge to Animal Kingdom Lodge until we return from our cruise.

The less luggage on the cruise, the better for all. . .

One more question. . . Can we link, somehow, our Wilderness Lodge Ressie (staying with points) to our cruise reservations (paying cash) so our keys work the entire time we are there for all of the resorts?

I am not certain, but I believe they will only hold luggage for the day of check-in.
Regarding, KTTW cards, on any split stay you get new keys at each resort. They transfer any park passes you may have loaded on the card.

We plan on doing a similar "split stay" in July. They will transfer the luggage between stays and hold it for you.

I would doubt they would hold it that long between visits. My DW and I have had it held until a room was ready, same day check in. Why not just take it with you? Less chance of something going wrong.

We did a similar trip a while back and packed a "cruise bag". Left what we didn't need while sailing in the trunk of our car.
