Luggage Drop Off In Miami

Our cruise leaves in less than two weeks from Miami so I am working on the boarding logistics. We will have a rental car through National that needs returned to the airport. Is it possible to drop off our luggage at the port earlier than our noon arrival time, return the car to the airport and then Uber back to the port? There are four of us and I am anticipating a lot of luggage Or am I making this harder than it needs to be?

We pulled up in a private van service. Grabbed a porter and sent in our luggage around 10:15. I would think you can drop off luggage first.
