can you use a hard luggage (w/wheels) as your day bag? instead of a small day bag? ours is a small one, maybe 3 feet by foot and a half, w/wheels & a handle. that would work so much better, than a little day bag for us! anyone know? thank you!! :flower:

I called DLC today about bringing water on board and we were discussing the luggage requirements. Basically the way I understood it anything that meets the airline requirements as a carry on is approved as carry on for the ship. I don't remember the exact measurements but you maybe have seen the boxes at the airport that show the size. If your bag can fit in the box it is OK.

We got our DCL documents today - they say the maximum day bag size is 9"x14"x22". I was a little concerned, but figured out the smaller sized wheeled luggage meets these guidelines - that's what we're planning to use. DH doesn't want to use anything that doesn't roll.

We used a wheeled carry on without a problem during our recent cruise.
