We plan on staying 1 night on property . We will arrive at the hotel late, at around 10pm and will check out early the next morning for HP early entry. I just want to confirm that the hotel will hold on to our luggage for us until the end of the day. Also, does the luggage check area have a refrigerator? We will have insulin that will need to be kept cold We will then take a taxi to the Contemporary.

They will definitely hold onto it for you.

I don't know about a fridge back in Bell Services. But you might consider getting something like this, just in case!

And remember to let them know that you have a medical need for a fridge in the room, so that the rental is free.

I would call ahead of time about the medicine to see if they can keep it cold.

Thank you for the replies!:flower3:

We do have a frio. I am not a fan of it but I will bring it just in case. I did tell reservations we needed a fridge and they said to let front desk know when we check in. If there is a freezer section for my ice packs, it should keep the insulin cold.

I know in Disney, alot of people have groceries delivered for their vacation and the bell services have refrigerators and freezers for these items to keep them cold until they are picked up. I guess this is not common at Universal.

i wouldn't go as far to say it is not common at universal.

call the hotel directly and ask to speak to a manager or the front end manager.

tell him/her the situation about needing your meds to be refridgerated until you actually leave the hotel, not when you check out.

you will get more accurate information and help by going that route.

the Star Service program at the Loews hotels is wonderful.
anything you need can be taken care of from your room once you check in.
there is a button on your room phone for this free service.

if they can't get the job done, they call the manager, no matter what time of day or night it is.
star service is only available once you check in.

work with the manager of the hotel in advance for your situation.
