Luggage and ME 9pm arrival.

We are scheduled to arrive around 9:30pm. I know luggage service ends at 10 so we could still use it, but I am concerned about the timing. I believe the official line is that your luggage will be delivered within 3 hours from check-in. Assuming an hour from landing to check-in, that would be 1:30am for luggage. I plan to be asleep long before then! Does anyone have any experience with these late flights to know how they work? Will Disney hold your luggage until the morning if you ask?

Yes you can tell them (at Bell Services? Checkin desk? Both?) to hold it. Then put your "do not disturb" tag on your door.

Let the front desk know when you check in. If you are staying at a deluxe resort, go to Bell Services and let them know to hold your bags until the next morning. At a moderate, go to Luggage Assistance and let them know. If at a value, Luggage Assistance won't be operating..they close down at 10 as well! Just hang the 'privacy please' hanger out on your door. When you wake up, you will most likely see the red message light blinking on your phone, with a message telling you that your bags are there and ready for delivery.

Or if you would like just claim the luggage and take it on the bus with you. Bell services can take the bags from you when you get off the bus and deliver them to your room for you. That way you will have everything you need and not have to worry about packing everything you need in order to go to bed that night - night clothes, toothbrush and paste, ect.

That would be what I would do. I don't tag my bags if I'm arriving after 6pm!
