Weird question- We will be in Orlando the night before our trip staying off property- mainly to rest from a long drive. Just wondering if we could take our luggage to our resort the night before and check-in? I've already "checked-in" online and want to be able to go straight to the park in the morning. Basically, we'd sleep at the off-site hotel with majority of our luggage at Disney already so that we can go straight to the park? Is this totally crazy?

Why not just leave it in the car? I can't think of any advantage to dropping it off early although I could be missing something.

Sorry, my sister had her window broken and luggage stolen once....just worried about that. Probably should've mentioned that. I will probably just do that...just a tad nervous.

That's a good enough reason if you can't fit the luggage in the trunk, unless you have a van.

You would not be able to check in the night before because the computers will be set to that particular day. I have read that the computers turn over around 6 am. I am not sure if you could leave your luggage the night before, you could always try and see.

You could leave your luggage at bell services and tell them you are checking in the next day. I have left a variety of things at bell services for friends or family who might be checking in the next day or week - extra waters, pool noodles, a Christmas tree - I think you'd be fine leaving your luggage. But you won't be able to check in until after 6am.

I think you could leave your bags with bell services the night before.

You can do online check in ahead of time (10 days ahead, I think) and you can provide them with your credit card and add a pin number to your magic band for room charging, make any room requests, etc. And when you do that, you can tell them what time you will be arriving and give them your cell phone number and as soon as your room is ready they will text you with your room number. You can spend the day at the park and whenever you are ready and your room is prepared, you can just go straight to your room without having to go to the front desk to check in. So yes, you can do that, and no, it's not a crazy idea.
