Lucky with PS reservations...

My family decided to go to Disney Aug.25-31. We didn't even know about the free dining plan. So when I went to make my reservations. I assumed since it was just over 60 days and with the free dining plan. I would never get some places or at least the times I wanted. To my surprise. I got everything and everytime I wanted. And these were prime times. I even was able to get Cinderella's breakfast at 8:30am. I have never been able to get there even when I went in off times and called 90 days in advance. I am hoping this is all a good omen for the trip.

Reservations made:
-1900 Park Fare 8:40am Friday (for 7 people)
-50's Prime Time Cafe 12:15pm Sat (for 7 people)
-Breakfastsaurus 9am Monday (for 5 people)
-Chef Mickey 5:40pm Monday (for 7 people)
-Cinderella's Castle 8:30am Wednesday (for 5 people)

Still trying to find a good place to go in Epcot. Have 3 kids (10,7 & 2)

I've had no problems getting AR's for my trip that begins in TWO WEEKS , just called yesterday to add another dinner and had my choice of times.

For Epcot try Teppanyaki grill (like Bennihana's) My DD's love it.

That's great! I've been worried about not being able to get in to places we want to visit on this trip. I still have almost 2 weeks before I hit the 90 day mark.

We just returned last night, very crowded, yet never had trouble (with exception of trying for a character meal once) getting times we wanted by calling the day before, in some cases the day of.
This past weekend was a Star Wars weekend - we called Saturday afternoon for lunch Sunday at 50s PT, MANY times were available.
I think that MOST people just don't make PSs before their trips. Several people came into 50s PT without a PS, only to be turned away. One guy had no idea what a PS was....
