Lucky with HH Reservation

I had made a day by day reservation for a 2BR villa at HH for June 12-19. Unfortunately, my schedule changed making it impossible to keep those dates. I called MS on Friday and asked if June 19-26 was available, and it was! I was very pleasantly surprised since I thought that is was very difficult to impossible to book summer months at the 7 month mark. Anyway, I am looking forward to a beach vacation a la Disney. I, too, was booking HHI at the 7-month window; was really hoping for a Grand Villa but no luck there (actually called at 8am on the first day I could book and the GV was available, but while the lady was cancelling my other ressie I had, someone else got it! ). But we have settled for two 2-bedrooms June 5-9, and we are so excited! I waitlisted for the GV that same week, but if it doesn't come thru it will be OK. There will be 8 of us - myself, DH, DD-11, DS-8, DB and DSIL, and DP's (my parents). We will be celebrating our parents' 40th wedding anniversary!

I, too, was booking at the 7 month window. So far, we got 4 out of our 5 nights. I have to call tomorrow for the last night.

We are booking a one-bedroom villa, but they also had studios and two-bedrooms available.

We really want to go in July or August, but will settle for June, if we can't get later in the summer.
