Gee..called up this AM for TWO - 2 bedroom units for 5 nights in July at DVC Hilton Head..(we own at OKW)....within the 7 month window...and poof...got them!

Yea..another summer trip to Hilton Head...our favorite resort!

I had the same expirence calling and asking for a studio at BCV for April.. POOF one call and it was mine... NO waiting, NO juggleing resorts, days, or anything. My first request, on the first call! It's a Magical world!!!

I own at OKW but I wanted to hang out at SAB! YEAH!

There must be a lot of pixie dust flying around. I called MS at our 7 month window and got 2 Studios at HH for 5 nights the end of June. Boy was I happy! And it was my first trip to book since becoming DVC Owners!

Okay. I've been lurking here for about a year and have finally gotten up the nerve to actually post.

I also called at the 7 month window and got TWO 2 bedrooms at HHI at the end of June/early July. Like you said...poof, just like that. We are so excited as this will be our first DVC trip since purchasing SSR.

Those points just flew out of my account!

You are going to have such a GREAT time in Hilton Head. I believe this will be our 7th visit. It's my hope to be able to retire there some day...if we can afford it!

DVC Hilton Head is one of the few places my teenagers jump at going without complaining

It is good to know that you enjoy Hilton Head so much and still enjoy going back. When teenagers actually WANT to go it says everything!

We moved to Florida last year and already spend a lot of spare time at Disney (we are about 30 minutes away) so Hilton Head seemed to be a great choice for us....not a park!

We also lived in Manassas for 10 years until last year. We miss our friends (who will be meeting us in Hilton Head) but not the winters and are glad to be in Central Florida. We lived off Yates Ford Road and PW Parkway in a subdivision called Bear Creek.

I hope your winter is mild and your retirement plans happen! And thank you for the welcome.

My husband wanted to move our trip up from July so I called yesterday and got a studio at WLV for two weeks in MARCH! Then today we decided to split the stay between studio at WLV and studio at BWV and as you all say POOF! Done. Preferred view and all! This is our first DVC visit to WDW and we can not believe how easy it was. I guess now July is open for HH, we have never been to our "home" so I guess now it the time.

It is not pixie dust it is the economy!! Less money to spend at WDW means less visits and more rooms available.
