Hello,

I just reserved the Lucky Nugget Saloon for a lunch (12:30) and birthday celebration for my 5 year old. I am wondering now if it would have been better to go at dinner. Has anyone ever noticed a difference between lunch and dinner service?

Also, I don't want to be rushed, but I don't want to spend too much valuable park time.

Oh, decisions, decisions!

IMO, Lucky Nugget at lunch will be perfect for you, as you don't want to feel you're missing out on park time, and you don't want to feel rushed.

Our experience of the Lucky Nugget at lunchtime was exactly that, completely unrushed, and still in the heart of the action. We spent a good hour plus at lunch, it wasn't that busy, and had loads and loads of character interaction (we saw about half a dozen characters at our table, most of them at least 3 times each :goodvibes ).

I've never had Lucky Nugget dinner, but booking that would depend on the park closing time ie if the park closes at 6pm, you wouldn't be able to have dinner there any later than 5pm, maybe even earlier.

Lucky Nugget at lunch was great - lots of characters, good food, very relaxed, stay as long or as short as you want. I would say we were there 1 1/2 hrs and saw the characters 3 times, they all came to our table.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the Saloon has (except for the 6 weeks in Summer) only Character lunch and no dinner.

Marcus is correct, dinner is only available when the park is open until late during summer season, and the last booking for lunch is around 2.00pm.

Great restaurant by the way - one of our favourites. :thumbsup2

I've eaten lunch here three times now ~ it's a great place and you won't feel rushed, we normally spend a couple of hours in there.

Enjoy!! :wizard:

Thank you. I remember this because I had once the same question.
I prefer do have dinner (and only a light lunch) every day. That's why we are having very often dinner in the hotels after the parks have closed. We don't want to miss a minute of park time.
