Lucky me! This is what I woke up to this morning.

This little voice pops up from beside my bed and says,

"Well, it is slightly cold this morning, with a chance of rain. It would be a good exercise for you people to wake up the "BIG SLUMP MONSTER " that's hanging over the side of the bed!!"

It was DD, Hunter, waking me up Monster, INC. style doing her very best Mike W. impression!

I had to laugh. I couldn't even growl at her... it was so cute.

About 6:45. About 15 mins. past when I was supposed to get up. I guess she thought she'd be the alarm clock this morning! She surprised me by being dressed, had eaten breakfast and only needed her hair done. She is getting quite self-sufficient.

6:45? We're almost gone by then on the weekdays! On the weekends, only my ds would be brave enough to wake me up that early, and then it wouldn't be a Monster's Inc. impression he'd be doing it would be the "I need some cereal with milk and orange juice NOW" impression he does so well.
