Lucky break at Vero

Can't believe our luck.... Just managed to get a 2 bed lock off at Vero beach in August at the 7 month point.
That means 1 week in Fort Myers beach,2 weeks in THV ,5 days in Vero Beach ,1 week in SSR and then home to the UK.

If anyone has any restaurant suggestions for Fort Myers Beach area please let me know

Wow...that's a lot of points. Congrats on the Vero Beach and the Treehouse Villa. Sounds like an amazing trip. I'm about to try and get Hilton Head at 7 months out...hopefully I'll be in luck too.

Us too! We booked a 2 bed lock off at Vero at the 7 month to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The other couple coming is celebrating 10 years!

Have a great time! We loved Junkanoo at FMB. Great pub atmosphere! Great pizza! We also liked Terra Nostra for Italian.

Captian Hiram's over in Sebastin. It is about 10 miles from VB over on US 1 north of Vero. You can get directions from VB CMs. It is mostly outside seating, so only go if you know the weather will be good. Great views of the river, boats, and we have seen dolphins playing many times out on the river.

I always go to the Yelp website, folks there seem to be spot on for our taste. So happy you secured VB.....love the resort!

When at Vero, we really enjoyed Squid Lips (more than Capt Hiram's).

I just read on the Vero Beach adoration thread that Captain Hiram's restaurant inspection was not the best. Heard good things about Squid Lips.
