I'm wondering what everyone's recent experiences have been with finding their desired last minute ADR's? I had some great luck about 2 months out with random cancellations but it seems like it has slowed down about 45-30 days out. I'm killing myself looking non stop everyday for my elusive pre RD ADR (I have one but now an extra person is joining:sad2:) and I'm wondering if anyone has had luck on their trip with last minute cancellations since people now need to cancel the night before. I know it's variable have people really seen an increase in last minute cancellations? For early am ADR has anyone had luck walking up to the podiums?

I also want to say that this site has been an excellent place to find answers and advice to so many questions. I especially love the ADR cancellation thread; you all are awesome!:cheer2:

We leave tomorrow (!!!!!!), and for the past week or so September's cancellation thread has been buzzing! I have missed the elusive BOG by a couple hours several times now, which shows that my diligence isn't what it needs to be - but there is a LOT of activity in that last week if your nerves can handle taking it to the wire!! :bitelip:

Agree we leave tomarrow also. I have been watching the Sept board and it is amazing how busy it has been the last few days. I was finally able to get my last wanted ADR through the cancellation thread last night (not for BOG).

This morning I checked the Disney reservation board and there was a good number of reservations available for tomorrow including Chef Mickeys, Chrystal Place. Park Fair etc. The rest of the week had more availabilty as well so keep checking.

That's awesome guys! Shannon keep trying I really hope you can get one. Also be sure to check the Disney website (I'm sure you do) for the one's that don't post or have to cancel without coordinating. One CM on the phone did tell me that the week to the night before is the "golden time" to look for cancellations...

My trip is in October and I do seem to see more cancellations for earlier in the month rather than later so hopefully things will pick up closer to our trip.

I hope both of you have a magical time! :wizard:

Wonder if it's the same with CRT?

I found several CRT ressies for dinner when I was looking a little over 60 days out from our trip and even scored a reasonable dinner time (started with 9pm then found 8:10pm then finally switched out to 5:35pm). When I say several it was like one once a day in the evening sometimes...I have not seen one come up since then though :sad2: I'm sure it just varies with people changing their plans. Keep checking as much as possible and check more often the week or two before your trip especially the night before since that's when people absolutely have to cancel. Also, if you can go during a non party night if your going this fall/winter there is usually more availability.

If you think your party would be happy enough meeting Cinderella, the Prince and here wicked step mother and sisters you could at least try to book a backup dinner at 1900 park fare over at the Grand Floridian. They only come to dinner though but maybe better than nothing and I've heard it's quite entertaining. I have seen cancellations come up way more often for this.

Good luck I hope you get one!
