Has anyone had any problems getting their first choice date and time for the WP? I really really want July 6, 2008 at 7pm (had to change from June 28,2008 due to the price minimum) I really wanted a candle lit ceremony and if I have it any earlier its going to be too ligh:( t outside:sad2:

I was completely unaware that DFTW's even has ceremonies that late. Have you confirmed that this time is even optional?

I had a problem getting our time choice. We wanted an afternoon wedding, but the only time that was available for the Saturday/Sunday of the weekend we HAD to have was 10 am. Mind you, when we called for our January 2008 wedding it was already early February. I honestly didn't think that we would have a problem, so I was really shocked. I was very glad that DF pushed me to call. I thought we had tons of time for a January wedding (value season after all)!!!

Sorry that this didn't give you the answer you wanted. Good luck getting the 7 pm time. Pixie dust going your way!

I wont find out about our date until about October.. I am hoping to get November 8, but I guess we will see what happens... Good Luck...

I called a few weeks ago and told her I wanted a candle lit ceremony and she said we could pick 5pm or 7pm. I wont find out until July 11th if I got the 7pm I'm so nervous :( But I think its a good sign that no one even knew there was a 7pm lol.

I can only speak for custom weddings, but I'm not sure if that's what you are planning.

Disney has offered a 7:30 p.m. time slot for some time now. That is when my ceremony was, since we used the AAR for our reception.

The fortunate thing is that not a lot of people are interested in having their ceremony that late, so you actually have a better shot at it than earlier times. However, you have to factor in your reception location too. We got our WP time slot for Nov. 4th, but lost the lottery for the day overall due to AAR. We therefore had to move the wedding to Friday, but then Sunday.

The waiting is a pain and very nerve-wracking, but I maintain that you have a very good shot at it because most people don't want their ceremony (and their reception) to start that late. I think the 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. time slots are much more problematic in terms of getting your first choice.

Good luck!
