Luck in getting billing issues resolved?

We stayed at RPR (just checked out Friday). The bill we got under our door and emailed to us was accurate, and we made no further charges after getting the bill. Also, we keep our room keys and do not leave them in the room or turn them in. However, I just checked our credit card app, and my charge pending from the RPR is 100$+ more than what our bill states.

Accounting department is closed now, but I left a message.

Who else has dealt with this, and what was your luck?

I had a $75 charge show up after we got back from our trip. I called and was told it was for the mini bar in the room. I explained to them that I was staying on the club level and had no need to use the mini bar items. They credited me back with no problems! I wonder how many times this happens, items disappearing after checkout??? I'm curious if it will be the same for you.
 
If they tell me it's the mini-bar, I'm going to be TICKED!! Not only did we not take anything out of the mini-bar, we actually LEFT them 2 Miller Lites we brought with us but didn't drink, lol. They should owe me 11$! :goodvibes

i had that happen back in 2011 for a charge that shouldn't have been there.


when i checked in this past october 2012, i showed last year's bill to the front end manager.

i got the credit back immediately.

yes, even after a year passed, it was corrected.




in case you are wondering why i waited one year to get the bill corrected.....

i never looked at the check out statement until 6 weeks before i left on the past trip.

i was comparing costs of the year prior to determine what i would probably spend on the upcoming trip .......... then i noticed the error.
 

They will take it off its it's not suppose to be there. I had a charge for mini bar once and told then that would be great if I had a key, lol. I always refuse the key at check in. We bring our own cooler and snacks.
 
Sorry. Meant to follow up, and then got the flu ... Accounting called back. The pending charge was just the hold they put on my card. When the actual charge came through, it was the exact charge listed on my folio. So this is resolved. Thanks for the help, everyone. :thumbsup2
 
so what you are saying is you ended up with two vacations.........



first was the vacation of fun, the second was being off work again but puking your guts out.
