Luau?!

Any opinions on the Luau at Polynesian? Is it worth money, time and entertainment for taking kids, 15, 13, 12, 9 and 7? THANKS

There are lots of (mixed) reviews at AllEars.net. Prevailing wisdom seems to be good show, OK food, too much money.

Hoop Dee Doo usually gets better reviews and it is inside where weather isn't such a factor.

To Luau in the early 90's and enjoyed show the food was not to our taste not bad food we didn't enjoy.Thought it was worth the dollars though.Have been to HDDR over 15 times and love the show and food is good,not great but good.I think your children would enjoy HDDR more than Luau,HDDR has plenty of Hee Haw type humor some wonderful songs and a great Davey Crockett skit and hey everyone gets to [play a wash board at end.How can you beat it.

last July, DD17 and her girl friend,they had a blast and took digital pictures of the guys in the show and made screen savers for thier school lap tops. Good clean fun to share with kids that age.
