We took our DD at 14 months- she literally had just started walking 3 weeks before she went- and SHE LOVED IT. We had tier one seating and they put us right in front, so our DD sat in a high chair in the very first row. She loved the food (we try to avoid pasta and chicken fingers if possible), and she ate everything. She loves the salad, and chows down on the ribs - which a still her favorite!. Also, they are really accommodating with food and picky eaters- I casually asked if by chance they had rice- our DD loves it- and brought out a side for her!
We all loved the entertainment- I especially enjoyed the male review (ahem...Disney's version of Magic Mike? lol) - but our DD was never bored and loved every bit. At the end she got out of the high chair and was dancing around making people laugh.
She has been twice since- at 3 and 4.5. She LOVES it.
Yes, it's expensive- no doubt. But, for 2+ hours of entertainment, food, and alcohol - it really seems reasonable to me. Well, Disney reasonable. I must admit, if I weren't a drinker I would be annoyed with the price tag.
Now, it was a must-do on our list Disney things- but we went this past October and they had changed the show a bit. My daughter didn't notice the difference, but we did. Since that was our 3rd time going with her, we've decided on this upcoming 2016 trip we will skip it.
