ok so ive heard some pretty bad things about the luau. we are going with another family who really wants to go, but we are not sure if it is worth it. in our group we have 6 yo girl, 10 yo girl, 12 yo girl, 2 14 yo boys, and 17 yo boy. shoud we book the luau or should we save our money like ive heard many people say on the all ears review. :confused3

As with a few restaurants this one gets a lot of mixed reviews. Personally my family likes it. DH insisted we go this year (last time was in 04).

I say go for it and try it since other people in your group want to go and decide for yourself.

I would pass if I were you. The food is mediocre at best. The show is quite cheesey but not in a silly fun way. The fire dancer is good though. I doubt based of the ages of the kids that they would think it all that great. Go to Ohana for better food at half the price. You could have several better, fun meals for 50+ per person.
