luau food ideas for class party

Anyone have any cute ideas of what I should have my dd 8 bring in to her luau party at school tomorrow. There is about 23 kids in her class. Familyfun.com used to have really cute things, but I can't find much on the site anymore. Thanks!!

My daughters class is doing a Luau party too. They are doing kabobs a dessert kind and a main dish type.
We are putting out cut up pineapple, ham, and cheese on one table, and cut up watermelon, whole strawberries, marshmallows, and more pineapple on the other. The kids are going to use lollipop sticks (no pointy end) to build their own.

What about mini-skewers of maraschino cherries and pinapple chunks? Maybe a "fruit" dipping sauce too? Or - if you want a "healthier" option - maybe strawberries and pinapples on skewers.

One thing my mom used to make...which sounds "odd" but really were well recieved was little skewerw of pieces of string cheese and grapes. Not a "luau" themed thing, but it is healthy.

I know you asked for food ideas- but if every kid is bringing in food, there will be too much..so a non-food idea would be a lei for everyone. (We live near a party store, and they sell the plastice lei's by the dozen - so this wouldn't be too much money.)
