Luau at RPR

Has anyone here done the luau at RPR? I'm wondering if it is worth the hefty price tag? It sounds like a lot of fun and something really different for the kids, but wondering if the food would be too funky for kids 7&9? Any thoughts or opinions?

We did it. I felt it was worth it. The food was some of the best I've had at these types of things, and they kept re-filling the mai tais as if it were water! I think they had some kid-friendly stuff. DD10 loved it, but DS7 got really bored with the show, mostly because he wanted to go back to IOA and ride spider-man.

It was fun. DH was chosen to do the hula on stage-hilarious!! I did think it ws overpriced but that is probably because it was held in a ballroom because of rain. I'm sure that it is much better outside.

They now have a permanent outdoor covered stucture for the luau. It is open but covered in case of rain.
