Comments:
The characters were Minnie, Goofy and Chip'n'Dale. Here the characters are in colonial dress and they look very smart and are just as friendly this time Minnie comes round to your table and my DBF flirted with her outrageously. This was my first time to a family style meal and I didnt know quite what to expect. The starter was a salad of tossed mixed greens with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing which was zingy and fruity and just made you want more and more of the leaves. It was then followed by a plate of Turkey breast, carved beef, and smoked pork loin chops accompanied by mashed potatoes, vegetables, herb bread stuffing and macaroni and cheese you then just help yourself and if you want more you ask for it although I dont think youll be needing it. The meats were cooked to succulent levels and werent dried out. We opted to shared a dessert at an extra cost and we went for the apple crisp which was a bit like an apple cobbler served with ice cream. I would go back as it was a definite feel good meal. The drinks were included in the price.
After dinner we came out into Liberty Square and found, much to our delight, the park was deserted. There was a security guard who pointed us in the right direction and we made our way over the bridge past the castle and down main street where some of the shops were still open. It was a wonderful feeling being one of say 50 guests in the park. The buses run a good hour and a half after the park closes from MK back to our resort which was a godsend.
