Hello everyone. We are taking our first Disney vacation in Dec. We are trying to decide between OTTO or WCC. We will be eating at garden grill in epcot later that week. I am not sure if LTT will be too similar. What do you recommend? TIA

LTT and WCC are VERY different.

WCC is more western, bbq food, where LTT is more "comfort" thanksgiving type food.

We have done both (love both) on back to back nights and never thought twice, they are so different.

The skillet meal at WCC is great and the restaurant itself is alot of fun. If you are traveling with kids they will have a great time there!
LTT is a homestyle meal also with good food, but WCC is the one place we eat at every year.

VERY different. Love both for different reasons. The food is excellent at both, but different atmospheres.

Thank you for the responses. We booked GG (chip and dale) for DD. Is LTT food the same as theirs? Currently we have WCC booked but i keep thinking back to LTT:confused3

Dinner at GG and LTT have very similar offerings

from wdwinfo.com menus:
LTT
All you can eat Family Style - Tossed mixed Greens, Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Beef and Smoked Ham with Mashed Potatoes, seasonal vegetables, herb bread stuffing and Mac and cheese. Apple crisp with Ice cream - $29.99

GG
Family style Dinner - Farmers Salad, Char Grilled Beef Strip Loin, Roasted Turkey Breast, Fish of the Day, Garden Fresh Vegetables, Smashed Potatoes, and Turkey Dressing, Strawberry/Rhubarb Crisp, with Vanilla Ice Cream

Personally, I wouldn't want to do both on the same trip.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE liberty tree food! Its so yummy!!!!!!!!!!! I cant say enough good things about it. I always had a great meal there. :thumbsup2

I suggest WCC, especially if you've never spent time at the Wilderness Lodge and I love their skillets and bottomless milkshakes! And if you have kids, they'll love it.

Considering the quality and quantity of food is pretty much tied I would really base this decision on location. Do you want to spend time in the Magic Kingdom or explore the Wilderness Lodge grounds?

I've already given my vote, WCC hands down! Love the atmosphere and it's just a quick boat ride from MK.

Good Luck! :thumbsup2

We did both LTT and Garden Grill the same trip back to back days. We were a little worried about eating the same things but it was pretty different. The mashed potatoes were different and the veggie was completely different. The food was good at both but if I had to choose just one it would be Garden Grill. Never been to WCC.

Thank again for the replies. Since we have WCC booked we will keep that one. As for now, we have yet to book GG (I thought we did but there are no openings yet because of CP). If we cannot get into GG then I will redirect and hopefully get dinner ADR at LTT. Funny, before planning a Disney vacation, I never would guess planning places to eat would be so stressful :)

We've only done Liberty for lunch and loved it. We've skipped dinner because I'm not a big "Thanksgiving" meal type of person. That being said, I would still choose it over WCC. We hated everything about WCC (except the milkshakes) and WCC along with Hollywood & Vine are the only restaurants on Disney property you could not pay us to eat at again.
