We did LTT about 6 years ago and have never been to Tony's. And we can not decide which one to try this time, so if you had to do one of them, which one and why? Thanks. :thumbsup2

We ate at LTT on Halloween night and it was wonderful. Great food and good character interaction. No characters at Tony's, so I guess it depends on the kind of experience you want. Good Luck!

Wow those are 2 very different places. While I like both I would choose LTT for dinner. For both the characters and food choices turkey, ham and sliced beef all without having to choose just one, plus dessert in one price.

As far as food, LTT hands down.
As far as atmosphere, LTT hands down.

My DH and I absolutely loved the LTT and have been back several times. We finally tried Tony's this January...just about the worst Disney food we've had. We will NOT be back to Tony's. Ever. :crazy2:

In my opinion, there is no comparison.

I would choose LTT as well two reasons,
1. it is a better restruant with better food and a better atmosphere,
2. if you don't like one thing there is more choice to help yourself to.

I haven't eaten at LTT, but we loved the food at Tony's.
Everyone in our party of 12 enjoyed it. (Which wasn't always the case)
My absolute favorite dessert of the trip was the tiramisu!

LTT is wonderful!!!!! Tony's is not good at all. If you want Italian go to the Italy restaurant at Epcot. Liberty Tree Tavern has great food, great atmosphere, and fun Characters. It is great either at lunch or dinner.

i would actually disagree. i've had better food and service at Tony's and from what i've heard lately from people posting is that the food has been really dry and the service not so great. and even though there are specific things on the menu, being a picky eater, i've always been able to special order what i want and the children's menu also offers items that aren't italian to please everyone.

Without a doubt, LTT. Tony's USED to be very good, but something happened a few years ago (new menu and new food company I believe) and it has been HORRIBLE ever since. LTT is consistently good, IMO. I prefer it for lunch rather than dinner, however (I'm not a huge character meal fan).

Thanks for all of the feedback. I think it might just come down to a coin toss. :confused3

Of the two, I'd pick Tony's. I know many like LTT but we did not enjoy the food at all. My girls are picky eaters and LOVED Tony's and hated LTT. The LTT food is Thanksgiving-style food and the mac & cheese is Stuoffers which my younger DD hates.

They ordered the pizza at Tony's and loved it and they loved the atmosphere...of Lady and the Tramp.

Tony's gets a bad rap around here but we loved it.

LTT is loved by many but we didn't care for it.

Dh and I used to love Tony's. But, as everything else, the food has changed. They used to have this fabulous Italian bread and pesto sauce, no more. The food is overpriced, and not very good. It is sad because it is a beautiful restaurant.

Liberty Tree is wonderful - the food is always, consistently good. It is good American food - I love the Turkey and the Pot Roast. There are characters with all you can eat at dinner. Lunch portions are so large, I would definitely suggest you share. DH and I are huge eaters, and we couldn't eat all of the turkey we got!
