We are planning to go MNSSHP on October 5th. We are planning to try for the earliest dinner.

I just read the wonderful review of LTT for lunch, but was hoping for comments about the dinner. Is it menu, family style, or buffet. I forget what I've read. or...

Would the Plaza be a good choice. We will probably be eating a good breakfast (if all goes well Cindy's) at early entry that day, but then going back to CBR, for pool time, and naps before heading back over to MK. Our kids, are 4, and 8, so we have to gear up for such a late night.

Also, if we show up that early in costumes, how much will we stand out?

So many decisions. I hate obsessing, but love planning vacations.

This is our first time doing MNSSHP (we've done MVMCP three times and love it!). I already have our tickets for Oct 14 - and we have a PS for LTT for dinner that night.

We've eaten dinner here before, and its served family style. This will be our first time having dinner inside the park before one of the parties. The Plaza is one of our family's favorites! The burgers are shakes are great!

I chose to make a PS at LTT since it was one of the first restaurants that offer PSs this early. That way, I KNOW I have a PS for dinner. The last two years, at MVMCP, we had eaten a late lunch before coming to the party and when the kids were hungry later during the evening, we found the selection limited and the lines for food a little long.

I also know my daughter will like a dinner with the characters - a perfect way to start our Halloween Party!!!!! If all goes well with the Oct 14 party, and if tickets are still available - we may go to the Oct 16 party too!!!

On our MNSSHP day, its a non-park day for us. We'll be sleeping late, maybe doing some shopping at Downtown Disney, a little swimming, then going to dinner for 5:15 and the party after!!!

Have fun!!!

This is our exact plan for the Oct 3 or 5 MNSSHP (not sure which one yet, LOL :) ) we did the party last year and found doing a non-park day was very relaxing! We might do a character breakfast/brunch at Chef Mickey's and change the PS to the Plaza when I am 60 days out.

I can't wait!

Ours too! We have PS for LTT at 5:05 on 10/5. We'll probably do a late character breakfast, spend the day at the pool and maybe rent water mice until it's time to head to MK. This is our 1st MNSSHP but we did this for MVMCP last December and it worked well.

We did MNSSHP last year for the first time and had dinner at
LTT. It was really fun. I didn't put the costumes on until after
dinner, but a LOT of people at the restaurant were already
dressed up so this year we are going to be in costume early.
We have a seating for 5:30 on 10/26 which should work out
well. Last year we had a 5:20 ressie and it was great--we were
done with dinner just as the "party" was starting. The staff of
LTT were all dressed as Haunted Mansion characters and Minnie,
Goofy, Chip and Dale were all in Hallween Costumes as well.
The food was great as usual...served family style and yummy!
Have a great time!

We have never eaten at LTT but I'm considering it for the Oct. 3rd MNSSHP. What is on the menu for kids? DS (8) is very picky and only likes french fries-no other potato or vegetable, not even mac-n-cheese. He is very good about eating meat. Do they have french fries available for kids? I don't want to spend the $$ for a character meal here and him not have very much to eat. I haven't made a reservation yet because of this question. Thanks for your help!

Is the Crystal Palace open for dinner before the MNSSHP? We are going to be at WDW from 10/25-11/1. I'm thinking the party is going to be very crowded on 10/30 and 10/31 so will probably go on Sunday, 10/26.

I just spoke to Walt Disney World Dining and they said I could not make a PS for LTT for 10/16/2003 until August 17th? How did you guys get your PS?

You need to tell WDW dining that you have tickets for MNSSHP. Normally, LTT is 60 days out but not for these events. I would call back and talk to someone else.

They checked TWICE, but I scored a 5:05 PS for LTT on 10/16 before the MNSSHP!!! Thanks for the info!

I am very jealous! I could only get 6:00pm for 10/16, I guess I should have pressed a litlle more. I just hope 6:00 is early enough to get an early start on the party!:jester:
