Which would you choose? We've eaten at Chef Mickeys once for breakfast and that was years ago. Never eaten at LTT. We're a family of two adults, DS20, DGF20 and DD18. I think the characters are basically the same and one is a buffet while the other isn't. I just don't know which would be better.

Any advice? Thanks!

I would not do either, we went to CM for dinner and it was terrible. We are not fond of the menu at LTT so I would go to CP or Kona

I'd definitely try LTT! Yum. And bonus, they bring the food to YOU. :)

Character interaction at LTT was great for us. I also like having someone bring the food rather than a buffet. However, IMO, the food was the worst we have had at WDW. We got some great pics though :thumbsup2

I would pick LTT over Chef Mickey's. We enjoyed the family-style dining, and the characters were great. The food was good, too.

I prefer to go to chef mickey because it is fun place to eat, especially with small kids. And by having table service dinner at outside park, I can relax more. If I have table service dinner at park, I really feel like I want to jump outside and go to ride, walk around main street etc, etc instead of sitting down and eating dinner for more than 1hr... For me, I am feeling like I am wasting time...

LTT 100%. I found Chef Mickeys a little childish, A LOT more so at dinnertime. LTT is timeless and the food is excellent. Character interaction is wonderful and also the atmosphere is very aunthentic and cool.

It is our first night tradition. I wasn't impressed with LTT at all. Very Mediocre.

I've done CM for dinner before and the food was only mediocre. LTT is like a big Thanksgiving feast.
LTT - Character interaction is much better there IMO.

Characters:
CM-Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and I think they added Minnie
LTT-Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale.

We much prefer Chef Mickey's. The character interaction is good at either place but I find dinner at LTT to be mediocre at best. Unless you are a big fan of Stouffer's mac & cheese. DD would eat there just for that. We tell our server to just bring a double helping at the beginning of the meal. But the variety at CM's is much better and we think the food is better too. They serve you at LTT but it is basically pre-plated buffet food. Atmosphere is quieter at LTT - CM's is kind of loud both in noise level and decoration!

I would pick LTT over Chef Mickey's just cause it's not a buffet. I like a little break from fighting the crowds! Chef Mickey's is alot of fun! It's also very crowded and loud!

Well the verdict is . . . . . drum roll please . . . . . Chef Mickeys by default (meaning I called to see if LTT had availability and there was nothing, which I should have predicted since its a MVMCP night). This will be dinner our first night so I think the loudness and excitement of Chef Mickeys will be just right (at least I hope so)! Thanks for all the opinions!!

My family did not enjoy LTT at all but Chef Mickey's was a great experience for us.

We always go to CM's and yes, there are alot of kids there. But we've always had a good meal. This year we tried LLT for the first time and we really liked it! Since it was just Dh and myself the characters were "second" to the food. ;) But the Characters were great with all the kids around us and when they stopped at our table it was so cool.

If I had to pick right now I think I'd go with CM's only because of the variety of foods offered.

Where ever you decide to go have a wonderful time!!!:thumbsup2
