We had 6:50pm ADR's on October 11th during MNSSHP. We arrived 15 minutes prior to a room packed with people. I knew at that point we wouldn't be seated anywhere close to 6:50, which I didn't consider a big deal because I knew we'd be at MK till 12 anyway and there were plenty of opportunities to do what we wanted after dinner.

We got seated around 7:20pm. Our waitress was extremely busy and not too attentative. We got our drinks and bread and then waited around 20 minutes for our salad, then an additional 20 minutes for our meal which arrived looking less than appetizing. The meats were warm, but not hot, the mashed potatos and mac & cheese were just warm too. The green beans were still kind of hard and needed more prep time IMHO. Our waitress then disappeared, drinks not refilled at all. She finally came over after we had finished and brought more drinks which was a waste. She then asked if we wanted 2nds . . .ummmm nooooo, we had already pretty much finished about 15 minutes prior to her coming back around. She then brought our desserts and the bill.

Needless to say, we tried it, didn't like it, and won't be returning.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that. Dinner at LTT was always one of our favorites. I hope it was just an off night.:sad2: How were the characters?

Terri

The characters came around to everyone's table on a once around rotation which was done very nicely. Minnie looked really cute with her mask on, and Chip and Dale are always funny to see, they were making faces at each other when they passed each other.

I ate there the night after you did and agree on all counts about the food. We had a 5pm reservation and didn't run into the wait problem that you did, and our server was pretty good. Aside from the character interaction, I agree it's not worth it.

We didn't eat there this yr because everything was booked. However we eat there last yr and enjoyed it very much.
It's nice the get a old fashion home cooked meal sometimes.

LTT is one of our favorite places, but it has become so popular lately. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience there.

sounds like your waitress was overworked (or overwhelmed...)

sorry it was a less than stellar dining experience....

We ate at LTT for the first time last December and we were really disappointed too. There are so many better places to choose from.

Sorry to hear this, I have ressies there for the MIckey Holiday party and am worried. You are not the first to talk about declining quality and service. :confused3

Sorry you didn't enjoy it. It was one of our favorites. Everywhere can have a bad night. Even in Disney.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I think alot of the TS resturants are cutting the staff a little too close for so much business. We had that problems a couple times in August. Food was good in most cases, service was so so. Hope the rest of your trip was great! :)

Try it for lunch some time that is a whole different experience, great food.
Also remember you went on a party night when LLT is one of the few eating places open and so even more busy than any other night.

On party nights we avoid MK TS, we book a late 2pm lunch at KONA and then head over to MK from there usually just in time for the 4pm tickets to let us in. THis works best for us since we enjoy a relaxed meal before the party and if the kids get hungry they can grab snacks and CS whenever they want. I dont' like to miss anything from the party so a TS at MK on a party day just wouldn't work for us! I'm sorry thta your meal was not good!

Sorry to hear about the bad experience. We ate there on our last day in April and it was by far the best meal (taste and portion wise) that we had on our entire trip. The service was very good as well.

We definately have it on our list when we return next October. :thumbsup2

We also had quite a long wait at LTT. We had 7:10 reservations and were seated close to 8 o'clock. Our waitress was also busy, but she did check in on us once in a while.

I can TOTALLY relate to your experience. Ours was a bit different but certainly not a POSITIVE experience and we won't be returning anytime soon either.

We were there in late Sept. and had a late ADR for 8:25. We actually checked in about 15 min. early and were seated pretty quickly all the way in the back by the kitchen in the corner. The hutch where all the silverware was kept that blocks the kitchen door from the rest of the tables was right next to us...so that made for a noisey meal of constant silverware dropping. I was able to deal with that but it was irritating to feel like we were being "rushed".

You encountered slow service while we encountered just "rushed" service without being asked if we wanted 2nds, etc. Our waiter wanted to clear our plates while we were still eating from start to finish.

The characters took almost our entire meal to show up (and then showed up one after another) and the restaurant wasn't even busy. They just never seemed to make it to our area without taking a break. We actually gave up on seeing Chip because we had already waited an hr. We were done eating in 45 min. so I was ready to go. The food was mediocre at best. Dessert was good but that was about it.

I'd much rather go to CP in a heartbeat even though we like the classic Disney characters. At least Pooh and friends come around quicker and the food is sooooo much better there!
