Liberty Tree Tavern was the first restaurant I ever ate at in WDW many many years ago before the character dinner. It was a wonderful meal. However, I haven't eaten there since, only because there are so many dining spots, and too little time to explore them all:)

DH & I are planning on dining at LTT this December, and can't decide on L or D.

What do you think?

If you choose lunch, I'd appreciate any menu recommendations.

Thanks for taking my poll!:)

I have voted for the Character Dinner. The food IMHO is not as good as the food at lunch and I am not a big fan of buffets. We go to dinner because it is one of the few restaurants that you can have a meal with Minnie.

Thanks, Florence. I like character meals with Minnie, too :)

It really is a matter of food quality vs. characters at LTT.

Anyone else?

I haven't eaten at LTT, but I do have a PS for dinner on Friday Dec. 19th before MVMCP! The place gets excellent reviews so I can't wait to try it!!

The food at lunch is much better, and it's a more relaxing environment than the character dinner (no "little darlings" running through the dining room, standing on chairs, or squishing mac & cheese into the carpets). The pot roast, crab cakes, clam chowder, salmon on pumpkin bread, and the turkey dinner are all excellent. ;)

I do love the dinner here and have voted for that. I think the food is just fine - great salad, lovely sweet rolls. Good meat and awesome mashed potatoe - what more could a person want.

BUT yeah I know what you mean after reading Belle5's reveiw of lunch I want to try it for lunch as well sometime.

I just love the character interaction here though :)

I noticed on Deb's site, the menu lists Boston Creme Pie for dessert as part of the price of the dinner (other desserts cost extra). Can anyone confirm that? That just may be the determining factor, since DH loves Boston Creme Pie.

I do have quite a while to go before making a decision, so keep those votes coming!

I voted for dinner, I felt it was nice to have a meal served 'family style'. This way everyone could have a little of this and a little of that. The characters are nice too, but we actually have enjoyed the food in the past.

And the winner is.... dinner at LTT!

Below are my "3 good reasons" for choosing dinner instead of lunch at LTT:

1)the votes have it (13/8)

2)that Boston Creme Pie included in the price of the meal for DH

and

3)as per news from tink2 's recent post, Donald & Daisy will now be attending dinner at LTT!:bounce:

Thanks again to everyone who voted/posted:)
