LTT for someone who doesn't like the food!

I plan on making a LTT reservation. My college age son does not like any of the meats and he's actually allergic to turkey. Will they accommodate him with something different? Who would I reach out to?

There’s a plant based menu. But if that doesn’t interest him. You might want to skip it. They used to have ala carte options on lunch menu pre Covid but they haven’t returned yet.

They’ll certainly work with the allergy & probably bring him a separate plate without turkey. Not liking the other meats isn’t something they’re likely to accommodate. He can eat as much of the sides as he likes & there is probably a vegetarian selection. My DH isn’t fond of the meats either, so we only go every few years. Maybe he eats somewhere else while the family dines there?

He can eat as much of the sides as he likes & there is probably a vegetarian selection. My DH isn’t fond of the meats either, so we only go every few years. If there is a group who wants to eat there but between allergies & pickiness he doesn't ~ let him venture out on his own, grab some quick serve and maybe hit a ride on his own. I know my kids as young adults are totally on board for doing something like that.

Now if it is just a parent & son, pick somewhere else ~ food is good comfort food but certainly nothing about it is #mustdo, and way too much to pay if not eating the main entrees or unhappy with the offering.

I saw a young man at LTT last year served the largest plate of chicken fingers and fries I’d ever seen. Not sure if it was because he had allergy or just didn’t like the food.

Kids price is $21 so not much difference if you got chicken tenders, fries and drinks at Columbia Harbor House.

I agree with cutting him loose to find his own meal somewhere unless you're a parent-child duo. In that case, I agree with the prior suggestion to pick somewhere else you both can enjoy.

If you don't mind paying the adult price for him to eat sides and dessert, LTT will definitely do that for him.

Any Disney-owned restaurant will be scrupulous about allergies. I'm gluten and dairy intolerant, DH allergic to all peppers. LTT brings us separate dishes/platters suited to our needs.

Do be cautious if you plan to eat in Disney Springs or Epcot. Not all restaurants there are Disney-owned and may not be accommodating enough.

LTT has a family-style meal that doesn't offer ala carte options. It hardly seems worth it for him to eat sides and dessert. Why not choose another restaurant where everyone can choose from an actual menu.
