Hi, I hope you guys can help me out. This will be our first MNSSHP in Oct. Is it worth it to take the time to have dinner at LTT? The only time I could get is 7:05 P.M. Right when the party starts. The CM said they are completely booked. I thought about just walking up around 5:00 P.M. and see if they had any no shows. Please HELP!

Thanks a bunch!:flower3:

IMO, no, it's not worth missing the party. Our ADR is for 6:00 and I really think that's too late since by the time we get seated, eat and get back out it will likely be 7:30. However, we're doing two parties so I think we'll keep it. I originally had an ADR at 4:05, some would consider that ideal but we just don't eat that early, so when I caught the 6:00 cancellation I took it.

With a 7:05 ADR by the time you're seated, eat and get back out it will be 8:30 or so. You'll miss an hour and a half of the party and it will be too late to get a spot for the first parade. It will be almost time to get a spot for fireworks, then the second parade will come along, and then your night will be almost over.

Keep trying for an earlier time, people do cancel. If you don't get one then I'd just plan to do CS that night and enjoy all of the party.

I'd suggest not booking a sit-down meal during the party. It takes up too much time that you could be using riding rides and enjoying the events.

We have a 5:25 do you think we will be done by 7 for the party? At first I was thinking no problem, but now I'm thinking by the time we get seated it might be a problem.

We will keep the reservation though, but I hope not to miss any of the party! :thumbsup2

Yes, I think you'll be done by 7:00. Just be sure to check in 15 minutes early for your ADR.

Thanks will do (Always do) :-)

We are hitting the first day of food and wine also which is crazy, but we have never been and it's our last day.

We had a 5:30 ADR for LTT last year before MNSSHP and we checked in a few minutes early and were seated quickly. We were done with dinner and back in the park before 7pm.

I don't think I would go to a 7pm ADR though. You would miss too much.
Keep trying for an earlier ADR on it.

This was our experience two years ago as well.

I completely agree. While it is fun and festive, it is certainly NOT worth missing the party for. I can barely get everything done as it is!

The latest I would eat is 5pm to be out by 6:15 - 6:30 and enjoy rides before the crowds arrive. We actually book at about 4:10 and get in an early dinner as you can get in at 4pm. I would never miss the party for a TS!

Folks, the MNSSHP goes until midnight!

IMHO, I'd keep the ressie, but try to be there earlier to see if you can walk in. There are usually cancellations.

But if you can't eat until 7, I wouldn't worry too much about it. We are not parade people, so parade times are just a way for us to ride more rides with less crowds. There will be plenty of time after dinner to do every attraction you wish to.

I think that depends on how much the OP wants to do. It wouldn't be enough time for us. Heck, one party isn't enough, LOL. If they want to see the fireworks and the parade, trick or treat, do character meets and fit in some attractions too I think they will need more than 3 1/2 hours. JMO

the reality is nothing spectular happens at either 7 or 7:30. i believe the first parade is 8:30. you won't be missing all that much to be honest.

i think it's worth it.
