The American Pavilion at WS is sadly lacking in the food dept. Suggestions over the years have been different regional foods (which would be awesome, like a cross country culinary road trip). But what about moving LTT to the American Pavilion?? The food is appropriate and the costumes fab. TS at WS is always in high demand. What do you think???

I think it would be a great idea. You are right, it really fits in. The only problem I would have is that there are already sooo many good restaurants in Epcot, I would have a hard time eating at all of them!:rotfl:

My guess is that this is precisely why they don't put an American restaurant in WS - there are so many American restaurants in other areas in all the parks that what's the point? Use WS to sample other cuisines!

I enjoyed the food at LTT in MK, but not so much that I'd want to dine there when I am at Epcot.

I consider Epcot to be the best tasting park and while I enjoy Turkey and Stuffing, it's not enough to 'give up' an unique opportunity for a superior dinner. (At least what I consider a superior dinner).

This was our thought as well. One could argue that all of the non-themed restaurants are already "American." Besides, what is American cuisine? It varies from region to region, state to state. We don't really have a "national" food outside of hamburgers, haha. ;)

I wonder! I was reading a food review the other day. I don't remember if it was here on the DIS or on another board. Anyway, the writer was from England and she said that the one thing they really wanted to try were the American foods, corn bread, chili dogs with chili fries, and pizza. After she reviewed them she said she loved the pizza, the chili fries were OK, but she sure didn't like chili on her dogs. Everywhere she went all week she tried corn muffins and cornbread and was really surprised to find she loved it. After reviewing all four foods, she asked if we thought she could pass her naturalization test since she was now familiar with American food.:rotfl:
