LTT and wait times for ADRs

We have an 11:25 lunch ADR. I keep reading about people having to wait 40 minutes or so even with an ADR. Is this more the case for dinner than lunch? If we have to wait for an ADR, I think I might just go to CHH.
Thanks!

IME restaurants such as O'Hara, chef mickeys seem to run further and further behind schedule as the day goes on. Not sure if due to understaffing, guests lingering longer or things just moving slower due to character interaction -- but I never had problems with early lunches

Is this your experience with LTT, or just the restaurants you mention?

OP I haven't been to LTT in years, but everywhere is usually at least a few minutes behind. The closer to opening, the less the wait. An ADR is not a typical "reservation" where they are holding a table for you at that time, but rather it puts you in line for the next available table for your party size. If folks linger longer than expected everything backs up.
Good Luck

Lunch or late breakfasts - in general I've never had those kind of wait times at any TS we've encountered. LTT has always been one I've hoped to visit but if 40 minutes is the norm that's off the list.

We have always had a 20-30 minute wait past ADR time at LTT. I don't know if that's the norm or if we've just been repeatedly unlucky.

LTT has been having a lot of recent reports with longer waits for your ADR, especially at lunch since they changed the menu. Since ADRs were already made but they then switched to the AYCTE menu all day instead of the old lunch menu, it seems to have messed up the timing.

We have both dinner and lunch at LTT every trip. Lunch has generally been a shorter wait than dinner. We have not been since the changed menu.

I dropped our ADR a few weeks ago for lunch and I am glad I did. Every time I walked by around lunchtime- there were quite a lot of people waiting and I heard a few complaints as well over the wait time.
We dropped our ADR over the change in the menu. We went that day instead to CHH.

We always try to schedule our meals for the first seating at lunch (we just skip breakfast since we are eating at 11:00) or the first seating at dinner so we don't end up with a wait due to the "back-up." I would imagine with your ADR time you should be okay. Since it opens at 11:00 I doubt they are planning on being able to seat enough ADRs to fill every table, serve every single table, and have every table be able to finish their meal in 25 minutes. It's more likely there will still be open tables at 11:25 due to staggered seating from opening. Since you are supposed to show up 10 minutes early anyway to check in, it is even more likely there will still be open tables but you could always show up a few minutes earlier than even that time just to be safe.

We had lunch there the beginning of Dec when it was crowded at Disney due to PW and free dining and we did not wait long to be seated at all. We are 3 adults so not sure if that made the difference or not.
