My favorite LSS store closed a while ago and I have yet to venture to the other one. It is having a big sale today and I plan to drop in before work. I have been doing most of my purchases online or from HL/Michael's since my other store closed, so I have missed out some on what's hot in the scrapping world. Any items/collections I should make sure I check out? Thanks! :)

Hmm...for me a sale is the "excuse" to simply spend a good deal of time browsing through everything carefully to see what is new. LSS stocks vary so much from one to the other and I know even at my regular LSS I always find new stuff. Usually it is in and out for what I specifically need :rotfl: uh-um., yea right...anyway hope you have time to browse.

I spent around an hour in my LSS today before heading to work. I only did $63 in damage, although I am already planning a return trip. The ladies working were so nice and helpful. I asked about 20 questions and they put up with me with a smile. :) She showed me how to do half the things I asked about. I even got to do an adorable card make-n-take and also a tag make-n-take. I tried out the different eyelet setters and bought the silent setter kit. I had no problems using it with different brands of eyelets (after reading on here, I made sure I tried it with MM eyelets before I left). Besides the setter, I got a ton of patterned paper, some wire phrase packs, some adhesive fabric tabs, and stickers. They also did prize drawings and I won a Christmas Page Kit with paper, dies and stickers. I got to see the 2nd Avenue and Wild Asparagus designs I ordered from the website this week which was nice as well. I am so glad I took the plunge and visited this store. I was reluctant too, because my old store knew me and my style/likes. I will definately be going back here on a regular basis. (I also stopped at Michael's afterwards and used my last 40% coupon on a set of 6 colors of MM eyelets) :)
