You can apply for the Loews first card on their website, loewshotels.com. It will take a few weeks for the card to get to you. What it gets you if you stay at the Hard Rock Hotel or the Portofino on Universal property is an automatic room upgrade if available, and a treat delivered to your room when you check in, like wine, cookies and milk, fresh fruit and some others. You choose when you check in....you have to show the card when you check in, and if you have it when you make your reservation they will take the number, otherwise, call back and add the number to your reservation later. There are a couple other perks too I believe, you can check them out on the website.
