Lowering Interest on Chase Disney Visa?

I've had a Disney Rewards Visa since they were first offered. It has a crazy high interest rate, something over 24%. I've never missed a payment and, excepting vacations eligible for the 0% financing, I always pay it off in full every month.

Since I pay the balance in full the interest rate shouldn't matter but for some reason it's been bothering me lately. Why is it so much higher than other cards? Our credit score is very good.

Has anyone ever gotten Chase to lower their rate?

My interest rate on the Disney Visa is 13.5 I think. I asked them recently to lower it (why not, can't hurt) and they told me that's the lowest it goes for that particular card. Send them a message, they will probably bring it down.

Mine is also 13.5. Or to be exact 13.49

I just got my Disney Visa, and it's 16.4% on purchases and balance transfers, and 24.49% on cash advances. I am not bothered by it since we pay our balance off every month anyhow. I have no idea what the rates are on our other cards since we pay those off every month if they are even used.

When I opened mine it was 9%, then it went to 11% and a few years ago it went to 13.49%. I pay mine off to each month. I am thinking of getting something else. Chase keeps sending me letters to increase my limit or go with the 2% , but I am not going to pay an annual fee. I will probably keep it for booking Disney vacations and getting a percentage off when we are at Disney.

I have a 2% back version and the APR is at 16.2%. Not horrible but not great, but doesn't really matter since it gets paid in full each month. For me the 2% annual fee is worth it since it essentially pays for itself in one month of charges. Bought tickets for the family for this year's trip and received over $30 back. I just gather up the monthly credits and it puts a nice dent into our dining bill at the parks.

Thanks! I'll give them a call. I never carry a balance except for Disney packages at 0% so it really shouldn't matter. It just bugs me for some reason!
