Lower Pts. at Disneyland!

My guide just called me this morning to tell me that they lowered the points at the Disneyland Hotels. My problem is, my papers haven't come yet, so I can't access the DVC member website yet.
Does anyone know what the points are now?

I guess I will post them since others might be interested. These are only for the DLH for 2006. The points represent a 25% decrease in points that is usually required by DVC to stay at the DLH.

Nov. 26 - Dec. 21

The OP wanted to know what the points were for DLH. These are the points the DVC member web sight has posted and they have not changed from the original lowering for the 50th.

I've since spoke with my guide and he said that they had already lowered the DH points, but they just lowered the GC. I noticed that the DH has been lowered 3pts for the time that we stay (always Aug.), which really isn't a deal for us. I have never paid over $129 for the DH. Sorry to get everyone all excited!

I have a reservation for the Disneyland Hotel in late June, but am now thinking of switching to the Grand Californian. Would it be worth the extra points? Did I miss the fact that the points for DH Premium View and Grand Californian standard are only 3 points different, or were they really just recently reduced?
