Low Crowds Today!

We went just for a few hours today. We arrived at the parking garage just after 1 pm and stayed until 7 pm. Crowds were surprisingly light today! I was expecting a mad house due to the reports last week. But it wasn't bad at all! I am guessing the heat today kept many locals at home. But their loss. We had a really nice day at DL and DCA and are happy that the crowds were very light (at least in my opinion). I think the longest lines were for the air conditioned rides like IASW and POTC

That's awesome to know! Me and mom are sneaking a way while the bros r at school for 3 hours to get pass' tomorrow and we r hopeing for it to be very low so we can do as many rides as possible!

Well it was low today also! 20 min. max wait while we were there for space mountain

That's great! My parents are there today for my dad's birthday with my sister and her family. It is also my twin boys' 16th birthday and we wanted to be there for their birthday too, but unfortunately they had school. Actually, we all had school- DH a math teacher, and me the new school librarian. I wish we could have gone!!!!

Wondering if the heat is helping to keep people away. We're going next tuesday and it will be slightly cooler so I'm hoping the crowds will be low then as well.

Going tomorrow again and it seems the weather drops a bit each day. Hopefully it will be all low for the rest of the week and the week after, it should since high schoolers will be back in school on the 31st...bleck.

It's usually 10-15 degrees warmer where I live so we go to dl to cool off

I think crowds will be fairly low now. Which is nice

Expecting 102 degrees today, 96 degrees right now. I'm figuring it's not a good day to be paddling the canoes.

We're at the hotel now. It's just too hot to be in the park. We're cooling off right now at the pool. Monorail was down at 2pm due to overheating. Splash didn't open til an hour after park opened today and BTMRR was down in the morning too. Here's hoping to a cooler evening

We been here since Tuesday afternoon and the crowds have not been bad at all.

This is our first trip to DL/CA and te crowds are much lighter than we have seen this time of year at WDW.

Today is VERY HOT and that is keeping the crowds down.

Taking a hotel break now and heading back after dinner!!

I think they said that friday was supposed to be the hottest day. So I hope it cools down soon! That is too warm to be in the parks. It is still 103 here at 6:40. I am hoping next week is cooler, low 90's would be perfect.

It was 105 in the area today - and dry and as still as could be. REALLY unusually hot, but there it was. H-O-T. Find those indoor/cool/AC places at DL and hang. And drink LOTS of cold liquids.
