Low Cholesterol Counter Service Foods

Since cholesterol is an animal-manufactured substance, eating vegan food choices would get you cholesterol-free selections.

Here are some of my favorite park counter service items that I *think* would be lower in cholesterol, but I don't know for certain since I don't have the nutrition information.

AK:
Flame Tree BBQ -- grilled chicken bbq salad (can also be ordered w/out the chicken)

DHS:
Backlot Express -- Southwest Salad (This is a newer menu addition and it is sooooooo tasty! It's got black beans, grilled plantains, and a really zesty chimichurri vinaigrette.)

Epcot:
Sunshine Seasons -- Lots of selections here and the refrigerated cases offer pre-packaged items with nutrition information printed. I really like a couple of the entree salads they toss to order -- seared tuna and the roasted beets w/goat cheese (I know chevre tends to be lower in fat than cheeses made from cow's milk but I'm not sure if the cholesterol follows as well).
Tangerine Cafe (Morocco)-- Vegetarian Platter
Yakitori House (Japan) -- Miso Soup, Spicy Tuna Sushi Maki (they use a chili oil instead of mayonnaise in their spicy tuna rolls), garden salad with the ginger dressing I know and love so well

MK:
Columbia Harbour House -- vegetarian chili and the lighthouse sandwich (It's on a multigrain bread and has hummus, tomato, and broccoli slaw on it; the slaw is mixed with a mayonnaise-type coleslaw dressing but isn't dripping with it.)
Cosmic Ray's -- salad w/grilled chicken off the kids' picks menu
