Low-Carb Breakfast

Cherrios with a banana cut up on it, skim milk, a cup of coffee and a glass of water and a vitiamin pill. This is the breakfast of success.

hard boiled egg, meat/cheese wrap, egg beater omelet, canadian bacon
 

an egg, cottage cheese, and a morning star veggie pattie. Maybe a piece of fruit for just a bit of the carb
 
Turkey sausage patties with a few scrambled eggs (yolks or no) and 2% cheese.

I've been following weight watchers core plan and started directing myself toward protein for breakfast. I have found that any of the following is really satisfying and holds me until lunch:
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped with salt&pepper and eaten with a fork (sometimes I discard one of the yolks)
fat free cottage cheese (I like grapes or frozen berries in it)
fat free plain yogurt w/a little artificial sweetener
egg beaters with non-meat sausage
egg beaters w/chopped broccoli & mushrooms & fat free cheese
egg beaters topped with spicy salsa

Looks good Cam, no processed red meat. Eggs get a bad rap but in moderation are excellent.

Stay away from... cereal... and breads....

I love a good protein shake... and then you could add some fruit... or some peanut butter...

protein....feeds muscle... and carbs are fat glue... calories and carbs are the two things that will fluctuate your weight the fastest...

the magic combination is that of proper nutrition and exercise... get it in... aerobic... strength and flexibility... remember to always stretch the muscles you were working out...
 
I just had a wonderful breakfast, though certainly not as low carb as you are looking for:
2 lite multi-grain english muffins, toasted
3 slices center cut bacon
lettuce, tomato & less than 1 TBSP lite mayo, spread across both english muffins

Yesterday was a heavy workout day, so I woke up really hungry and that is why I had 2 of these, though the english muffins are not very large, so I guess it wasn't all that much bread. It is very filling, though, and I know it will hold me until mid-afternoon.
 
Egg beaters and salsa is one of my faves, and I'll usually have either oatmeal or yogurt with it, and fruit. I have found that the more protein in the morning, the longer til I feel hungry.
I've also had the egg beaters and put leftover chili on top, or had leftover chicken for breakfast with fruit and yogurt.
 
becareful on which fruits you add in, example Berries are PERFECT! Grapes are high in natural sugars which will cause the Blood sugars to rise then drop.

Why Egg beaters? If your doing Low carb then enjoy a real egg! Do not concentrate on calories or fat intake, matter of fact UP your fats and watch yourslf lose faster! (I am living proof of that)

Go for left overs from dinner- steak for breakfast anyone?
Loaded omlets with eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, you name it!

Oatmeal is high in carbs... so watch that one.

Yogurts, do FULL Fat Plain and add in some Davinchis Sugar Free Sryups and fresh berries.

1/4 cup ground flax. Add boiling water a little bit at a time to make hot cereal. Add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter. Mix well.

High protein, low carbs, lots of Omega-3 fatty acids. Oh, and very yummy.
 
morningstar farm veggie sausage patties or veggie burger wrapped in a lettuce leaf. I eat this almost every day. Somedays I melt a little cheese on it. It is fast easy and not messy and keep me full until lunch usually.
