I wasn't sure this was going to be such a hit, but we've LOVED it so far! We bought it just for the upcoming Disney trip and took it for a spin this past weekend. We have a 6 yr old who of course is too big for strollers and has a FIT about looking stupid sitting in one - Disney or not. This has a "big kid" seat in the back and he LOVES that he can stand in it. The front seat is plenty big for our 16 moth old. The only thing I don't love is that it can be a bit tough to get into the basket to pull large items out. (Unless we're using it incorrectly - ha!) :rotfl2: Just thought I'd share it with you since we heard so many great comments at the mall from other parents. :thumbsup2

That looks very cool! Do you find it to be easy to fold? (they all say they are easy to fold!) My husband would flip if I said I needed yet another stroller, though. :rotfl:

We bought this a few months ago and love it! I also have a 6 year old who is petite for his age and he is very comfortable sitting on the back. And my 9 month old is comfy in the front. It is very easy to fold too!

Yep, pretty easy to fold. The only thing I would recommend is maybe to snap off the snack tray (for the baby in the front seat) when folding for airplanes. I plan to purchase a bag the entire thing can fit into so I doesn't get all dinged up and filthy during the flight. When it's folded down, it's about the same size as my big stroller, or maybe just a little smaller.

I have the sit and stand plus which has the extra seat that comes off and has the sit/stand option too and really like it although it does seem pretty big compared to an umbrella stroller...really like it alot too but still wondering if we should bring this or a double side by side umbrella for our trip this year...it just seems alittle big for all those trips on those buses...but I know my son would prefer being able to "ride" on it..the recline is not as good as that on the SBS (got the twin traveller) so I'm still debating how our 6month old will fare in it (right now we use the car seat and click it in.)

I have this stroller and took it to Disney this past February. Overall, it worked out pretty well. DS loved having the freedom to jump on and off by himself.

My only beef with the stroller is that the front seat doesn't recline very much. Considering that it is a given that the child in the back seat *can* walk, I would have much preferred the front seat to be designed to be able to recline fully, even if doing so the reclined front seat would cover up the seat of the back seat. I would have much preferred having the older child walk for a little while for the benefit of the younger child having a *good* nap.

I agree with you about the storage basket- getting in from the top is a little tricky as the opening is not very big. We just went from the side instead, the basket sides are pretty stretchy and we were able to just pull things in/out from the side easier than through the top

Also, I've noticed that the snack tray and the sunshade haven't been used anywhere else but at Disney. They stick out too awkwardly when the stroller is folded so we don't even bother with them at home. For Disney, they went in the checked luggage for the airport travel- we didn't want them to snap off through the gate check process.

i had this stroller two years ago for our disney trip and loved it! My older son is now WAY to big for it, so I gave it to a girlfriend of mine after she had her second.
people were stopping me all over Disney asking me about my stroller. Dh said I was a walking commercial.

Is your six year old less than 45 pounds? That's why I figured we can't use one of these types. My 3 year old already weighs more than that.:rotfl2: And she's not fat..just tall and sturdy. We are stuck with one maclaren for 2 kids to take turns with.:sad2:

YOu must be reading my mind... I do the same thing with mine.. I have the same complaints...:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I do  mine though.. Already did 2 trips to disney world with it and I am working on another...:thumbsup2

I have this stroller as well and I love it. :) We are going to disney in January and my dh thinks it is too bulky to bring. How did it work with transportation? Did you take it on the busses and monorail? I would love to bring it so my oldest could ride when he is tired.

I have an 8 yr old and a 6 yr old both about 44 pounds and 48". How do you think they would fit in this stroller? My 8 yr old does not want to really sit in a stroller but says he would ride on this. I know the height for the back of the stroller is only supposed to be 40". Anybody use it for children this size or age? My other choice is a side by side.

OK, I'll be the dissenter -- I had this stroller and sold it because I REALLY didn't like it.

Here's why:

- It's heavy. It's heavy just getting in and out of the car -- I can't imagine having to lug it on busses.

- With mine (the Joovy), when it was folded, the wheels locked, so you couldn't drag it behind you (thus adding to the "heaviness" problem).

- The seat isn't that comfortable. It's hard, flat, doesn't recline much, and isn't very tall at all -- my 4 year old could not have leaned back to sleep in it.

- It's SO heavy to push with an older child on the sit/stand part. All the weight is in the back, so it's very hard to navigate/turn.

These are just my opinions -- and if others love it, that's great!! And I will say, in the beginning, I loved it, too. I loved the idea of it -- but as I used it, I liked it less and less.

I now own a Pliko P3, which I LOVE for all uses (we just took a month long trip to Spain and it was AMAZING), but I won't be taking it to Disney where we're literally out all day long in the heat because my 4.5 year old will surely want to really sit. For Disney we'll be using two VOLOS that I bought and plan to sell as soon as we're back (thus making them cost no more, and probably less than renting a stroller in the parks).

Well, I've only had my stroller for a little while now, but I cannot imaging any 6 year old fitting in that front seat! My youngest is 17 months and it'll work for her for a while. My son is 6 yrs and pretty close to 45 lbs. I knew he wouldn't fit on this thing for long, but it was either buy this for $118 and have something to sell later or pay nearly $100 for renting a stroller at WDW. I opted for this stroller. I DO love not having to yell at DS in Target anymore because he's wandered too far in front of my cart :rotfl2:

I just looked at the Joovy one in BRU, sure that I would buy one of these after all the good reviews I've heard, but it looked so uncomfortable. I have to find the FP one somewhere to look at.

Can the child sitting in the back sit up straight? With the Joovy it looked like he would need to hunch forward, even when the infant part was fully upright.

And is the infant seat (not the carrier, but the actual seat) comfortable? Again, the Joovy seemed to be really hard and I can't imagine baby would be comfortable...no "give" to it like an umbrella stroller, for example.

Thanks for any feedback!

Thanks for the response !HereWeCome!. I'm having trouble deciding what stroller to get. I didn't want to rent because I'm going without DH and I wanted a stroller to push my 6 year old to and from the bus stops. I plan on getting to the parks before opening so we will have to wait and I'll have to sit and listen to him complain if he has to stand for too long. I know my 8 year old will want to hop in the stroller at some point thats why I want a double. I do not want to spend a lot though because I only use a stroller at Disney.

We bought one of these strollers (we have the baby trend, not the Joovy) last year for our September trip to Disney. It was AWESOME. Our DD1 spent a lot of time in the front seat and our DD4 loved being able to get off and on on her own. We were in Disney with friends who have a 4 yo son... we frequently had all three kids in the stroller! DD1 up front, one of the 4 year olds in the back (facing with his/her feet in the basket) and another 4 year old standing in the back.

My biggest complaint about the stroller... and this would apply to any stroller at Disney... the buses. It was really really terrible getting on and off the buses. We would wait in line with the kids in the stroller (to keep them in one place). Then the bus would come and we would frantically try to get them out of the stroller, fold it up, get the kids safely on and carry the stroller on without bumping into other people, all while many people are also trying to get on the bus at the same time.

We are going again this August/September and will take the sit 'n stand with us again, but this time we willstay at the Poly. I am so excited to be able to just roll the stroller right on to the monorail for MK and Epcot.

People were also asking us all the time during our trip last year about the stroller... it was a big hit! We now use that stroller exclusively.

We have a a Joovy Caboose I bought right before our trip to Disney last November. I loved it!! My DD is 6 and DS was almost 3 at the time. I believe 50 pounds each was the weight limit and my daughter was right around that but figured it would be ok. DS was around 35 pounds. I loved having this stroller. It was great for the airport. DD does not need or get a stroller ever around home so knew she'd only be in this one when she was really worn out. The stroller was awesome for going through the airport. I put DS in back and the carry on in the front seat and it was a breeze to get through (DD walked) I was traveling alone with the two kids so it was nice to be able to have DS sitting right in front of me. Especially when we were waiting in line for Magical Express or check-in. That way he was sitting right by me and not running around with me worried about him and chasing him down. He's a good kid, but still a busy now three year old little guy that I feel better about sitting next to me when in transit. I gate checked the stroller and it was waiting for me right when I got off the plane. It was very nice to have around the parks after a long day. My DD did use it some when she was worn out. It was a little hard to push both but still much, much easier then dragging along two very tired kids at night, on my own. I still use this one at home with DS when we go to Kings Island. We have season passes and go at least 1x per month and it's great in that DS can just hop off when it's time for the rides. He still does get tired walking around that park all day so nice to have along.
One of the posters mentioned she wishes the front seat would recline. Me too! On our first night DD was going strong at MK and DS tired and fell asleep in the front seat. Wish I could have reclined him. He would have napped longer.
