We arrive today at the BWV for our first stay at this resort. So far, I'm lovin' it!! We have a boardwalk view on the fourth floor. I can't wait until they illuminate Spaceship Earth! At first, it looked like DW's suitcase was not going to get here, but it made it. We went into Epcot and DS5 (almost 6) crashed. I don't blame him -- we left the house at 5:15, and he did not sleep on the plane. DW and I had a Kir Royale as we walked around the WS. I grabbed a Sam Adams at the American Adventure. Mariachi Cobre seemed especially good this afternoon. We took a ride on TT and then the rain came. Now I am enjoying a G&T on the balcony.

The room is in fair condition. Some fraying of the carpet at the doorways, the lamp in the LR is falling apart, there was some liquid material on the wall in the bathroom that I was able to wash off, but overall, not bad. The hallways were about 82F when we got here, but is seems like they turned on the air at this point.

Wifi does not seem to be working very well at this point. I plugged in my travel router and it is working like a charm. They really need to fix this wifi thing. Hopefully the ethernet will still work when we are here in June.

We're waiting for another member of our party and then down to Kouzzina for diner. Tomorrow . . . HS and my son's favorite thing at Disney . . . Stunt Show! But first, some champagne on the balcony tonight while we watch illuminations!!

Have a wonderful time! Wish we were there right now. MN is a little chilly today.

Have a great time! We stayed there for the first time in November and it is now our new favorite!! So glad I bought a resale contract there! Can't wait to go back. Have fun!!!

We are looking forward to our upcoming trip to OKW but will definitely miss our BW view. I sleep on the pullout at BWV just so I can look out the balcony door at the illuminated Spaceship Earth as I fall asleep. It is my way of affirming that I REALLY am at WDW. Enjoy!

We are BWV lovers and looking forward to your TR. Hopefully there will be some pictures, we haven't been to our beloved BWV's in almost a year, so I am living thru you this week.

I just figured out how to open the pull out :scared1: I had to call for a second pillow.:sad2:

I would like to do pics, but I do not use a photo hosting website. Maybe I need to try to do that this week.

Glad you like BWV - but I can't believe the hallway is 82, 82 below maybe!

They finally turned on the air. I couldn't believe how warm it was when we got here. We usually are freezing at Disney (like at Kouzzina tonight), so it was surprising that it was so warm.

Today has been fun. We were early ups for EMH at HS. We did Star Tours, Muppets in 3D, TSMM, and Lights, Motors, Action. We had lunch at Hollywood and Vine. DS5 loves Special Agent Oso and Jake, so it was worth it. The food was very good. It was not very busy, despite the cheerleading championship. The park was quite busy (perhaps due to the cheerleading championship). DS5 loves the Honey I Shrunk the Kids park, and spent about an hour there. We made our way back to BWV and hit the feature pool. I sat at the pool bar and watched my team lose in basketball, while DW and DS5 swam in the pool. My son loved the scary clown slide!

We did the DVC Welcome Home package from Disney Florist. It's a really nice package and the look on DS5's face when he saw the giant stuffed Mickey and Pluto made it worth the insane price. We now have a banner for the door for our future trips and a Mickey Mouse melamine plate for happy hour! They will take their place next to everything else in our purple box!!:thumbsup2

Were now having a wine and cheese party in the villa. DW is relaxing on the balcony, reading her book, and enjoying the atmosphere of the Boardwalk. We're getting ready to head to Epcot to see Jose Feliciano and saunter around WS. It's a little overcast, but comfortable. I'm not sure if we will stay in the park for Illuminations or come back early. With the time change tonight, we may need to get back earlier, since we have CP at MK at 8:05.:scared1:

Tomorrow is going to be a full day of MK. Breakfast at CP and dinner at O'hana. I can't believe DS5 has survived the past 36 hours without going to MK.

Your trip sounds wonderful! I would love to see Jose Feliciano.

I agree that will be an extra early wake up for you tomorrow.

Have a great time!!!!

Thank for the report. For a few minutes I was sitting on the balcony watching Illumination. Thank again, Have a Magical Time.

Jose was great! We're really looking forward to Starship next weekend. I'm starting to get BWV addonitis, but I have to keep telling myself that I can get this at 7 months most of the time, except for F&W (which is when I really want it!). Oh well . . . no small contracts out there, so I get to keep my money this time.

Time for bed. Spring forward . . . MK at 8AM (7AM to my brain/body!!).

Loving your report!! We just love BWV's too, the boardwalk view is so amazing. Nice to hear you are having a great time and enjoying your trip.

Have fun!!

Morning came too soon with the time change. We got to the TTC about 7:40 and took the resort monorail to MK. It has been overcast and rainy. We were hoping to do some pictures inside MK before park opening, but just as we were walking up Main Street, it started to rain. It was not a heavy rain, but just enough to make me want to keep my DSLR under cover. We were able to get a few shots done with a photo pass person, but that was it. We made our way to the Crystal Palace and got the stroller covered with rain ponchos. Breakfast was good -- love those cinnamon-sugared Pooh's French Toast at the kid's station. The character's made it around in good time and DS5 had a ball meeting with the Pooh character's.

We got our ponchos back on and went to the Emporium for a little shopping during the rain. Unfortunately, the rain was still going when we finished shopping. So, off to the theatre to meet Mickey and Minnie. The wait was only about 15 minutes. We then decided to just prove the rain and try to get in some rides. It lightened up enough to ride Astro Orbiter and then we went on the TTA and Carousel of Progress. We made our way to IASW and the wait was about 25 minutes. By about 1:30, we were all tired of the rain, so we made our way to the exit and took the boat back to the TTC. We got back to the villa and DS5 watch "Must-do Disney" another 30 or 40 times. He can recite the show at this point.

It looks like the rain has finally stopped. We'll be heading out again in a little bit for dinner at O'Hana. We had planned on heading back to MK to catch Wishes tonight, but with EMH at MK, I think it will be crazy busy, since the day was a washout, and we are all too tired to deal with big crowds. We have 6 more days, so we'll catch Wishes later this week (but probably tomorrow -- we love Wishes and it is killing us that we have not seen it yet since we have been here!). Maybe we'll hang out on the Boardwalk for awhile after dinner before turning in.

Tomorrow we head to AK and have dinner at Sanaa :yay::yay:

The weather today was fantastic, after yesterday's washout. Perfect weather for AK.

Before getting to the Day 4 TR, an update on Day 3. We ate dinner at O'Hana -- I don't get it:confused:. What is the special thing about O'Hana? We were seated later that our reservation, we sat at an empty table for about 7 minutes before a half full bowl of salad showed up, then our server finally arrived to take our drink orders. We asked for salt and pepper for the salad, and by the time we got it, the salad was gone. Then the stuttering food service ensued. Why can't they figure out a way to bring all of the grilled food within minutes of each other? Anyway, this was disappointing for as much as we were charged.:sad2:

On to Day 4. We had a fun day at AK. Crowds were up (likely because it was early EMH), but overall it was manageable. We got on the Safari in about 10 minutes (20 minutes posted wait). We then did camp Mickey and the lines for the characters were really short. That was followed by Nemo, Boneyard and lunch at Restaurantosaurus. That was fairly standard Disney food, but we were not too hungry and wanted to save room for Sanaa. After lunch, we saw Flights of Wonder. The tour guide guy is hilarious!:rotfl: Then DS5 won two large stuffed turtles at the Dino-rama game area. After that he fell asleep and we walked through the Pangani forest while he took a brief nap. We caught the 4:30 Lion King show, and headed to the parking lot. DS5, who is obsessed with various forms of transportation, has been a bit bothered by not riding Disney busses (we rented a car this trip), but he thoroughly enjoyed his first ride on a Tram! We were then off to Sanaa.:thumbsup2

Sanaa was wonderful! We had the bread service, which was excellent. We had a table next to a window, so we were able to watch Zebra dining on grass while I enjoying Spicy Durban Chicken and Beef Short Ribs. Mmmmm. . . we get to come back here again in June!!:yay::yay:

Tomorrow, back to Epcot . . .

Hi,Thanks for the Sanaa review!! We will be trying Sanaa for the first time in two weeks.:thumbsup2 Joan

Today we had fantastic weather. We spent the morning in Future World and rode TT twice. We got Soarin' FP's for late in the day. We ended the morning with LeCellier. The food was excellent, as always! The place was very busy at 11:45, and the service suffered a little, but was good overall.

We spent an hour at the clown pool. We are not too creeped out by the clown. We could definitely get used to this place! DS5 took a 2.5H nap and we finished the afternoon at EPCOT. We didn't do anymore rides, but had dinner at the new Japan CS restaurant, which was good and then we joined John for the OL wine Tuesday. We finished the evening with the British Invasion (or whatever their called) and then watched Illuminations. How great to be able to walk "home" after the fireworks.

Sadly, we have to leave BWV in the AM. We will be moving to GF for a conference, but are looking forward to our first stay there.

The CM's at BWV have been great. We hope we will have the same level of service at GF. We can't wait to get back to DVC and Kidani on May 31!

We love the convenience of BWV and BCV to Epcot. It makes for such an enjoyable stroll back to the room, rather then waiting for a bus, monorail or boat.

We are not creeped out by the clown pool either, we enjoy it!
