Love's Baby Soft

Yes, they still make Love's Baby Soft and I am going to try to find it for my DD7 for the holidays this year. I loved it and the lemon scent too. I had Charlie too, and wore it to be cool, even though I didn't like the scent.

Yes, I used Baby Soft but only 1 bottle because I liked Charlie so much more.

I remember using Love's Baby Soft! Later on, I used Liz Claibourne (triangle bottle), Obsession, and Anais Anais.

This past Christmas, my sister who is 8 years younger than I am, bought me a bottle of Anais Anais. (I still have it in my rotation.) She then confessed that when she was in middle school, she would sneak into my bathroom after I left for school and steal a few squirts. (Knowing her, she probably doused herself in the stuff!!!) I always wondered why I ran out of it so quickly, and I finally found out the answer!

Oh, my! Another oldie here. I loved Love's Baby Soft. Jean Nate too. And then onto Anais, Anais.

I also used Herbal Essence shampoo, and I think they had a body splash too.

Loved love's Baby Soft. I moved on to Opium. Wow - that was a heavy scent! I liked the musk oil but it was so greasy.

Love's, Heaven Scent, Electric Youth, Exclamation, Coty's (the best!)
Then, I moved onto the super cool Liz in the triangle bottle. It gave me such a headache, I threw up.

I still wear it occasionally - when I want a very light scent.. Most perfumes are just too overpowering for me and give me a headache..:goodvibes

thanks for the memories,i graduated high school in 78 so i remember all those things. i had that free spirit bike from sears.lol. i'm not that much into perfumes either, they give me headaches but i liked that lemon loves scent. i really liked herbal essance shampoo.

OMG, love the Midol ad on that site: "Be the you he likes." Lol.

After my first night of slow dancing with a boy I liked who liked me, he told me that when he got home his shirt smelled like lemon drops.:laughing:

Did you wear this? Did your bf think it was great? Have you smelled it lately? Did you progress up the scent ladder to Charlie, and that other scent that changed how it smelled on different women??? I ended up with Coty's Wild Musk for awhile.

We had the same tastes in scents! I started with Love's Baby Soft and Sweet Honesty. Then moved on to Love's Lemon scent, Coty's Wild Musk and the other one you mentioned, that was supposed to smell different on each woman. I think it was called Cachet.

Like so many others here, I also eventually moved on to Charlie, then to Anise Anise and now wear mostly Bath & Body Works Black Raspberry Vanilla or their Tutti Dolci Lemon Merinque.

In jr. high I started off with Heaven Scent, but I decided not long after that it was too sweet for me. In high school I wore something from Coty; don't remember the actual name. I always really hated Charlie -- I still do. There's someone in my office who wears buckets of it, too. (This opinion goes double for Tabu - ugh.)

My first week of college a new friend introduced me to Bill Blass cologne, and I still wear it most of the time. (It's now discontinued, but I have a stash.) I also love Balmain's Ivoire, which is nice in summer, but too heavy for winter in heated rooms.

You know, come to think of it, I haven't gone perfume-shopping in years; I've just stuck to favorites. DH is very sensitive to perfumes and I guess I've stuck with these because I know they don't bother him. I'm thinking that a shopping excursion is in order.

I wore Love's Baby Soft for a while and then switched to Babe. Remember that?

Oh my gosh, Ivoire was my first grown up scent! I still love it, but it makes DH itch, so I can't wear it anymore.

I remember Babe, LB. I think Faberge made it.

Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps was popular back then, too.

I wore Windsong....I had surgery when I was 11 and one of my friends brought me Windsong (among other things) as a present in the hospital and I wore the same scent all the way through High School. Now, I just spritz on Bath and Body Works Fresh Vanilla body splash.

Oh man the memories. I can smell it now. Used it as a pre-teen in the early 80's, lol.
