Lovemyshoes Shopping Not Happy Update Post #5

Has anyone else shopped through SR for Lovemyshoes??

I have small feet and have a hard time finding shoes so I was thrilled when I found 4 pair of shoes I liked in my size. My order was over $90 so I did get free shipping. Plus SR has 11% cash back for Supermembers. Hard to resist.

I ordered on April 2 and got a confirmation right away. No place on the website does it say how long before they ship out. It does say that once the order is shipped it will be 5-7 days before it arrives. I sent an email April 4 asking when the shoes would ship. Received a canned response that the should will arrived 5-7 days after they are shipped. :sad2:

Today I checked my order and it still is marked Awaiting Shipment. My CC was charged today I contacted Live Help. They said my shoes will arrive on 4-12. I asked if this is normal for orders to take this long. "No.....there has been a delay." Was someone going to TELL me?? Her response......."Thank you for shopping at Lovemyshoes.com." :confused:

What lousy customer service. They only have one rating on SR and it's a 3. They will most likely get a 1 from me.

I just read the Biz Rate reviews. Almost every one of them says lousy customer service and slow delivery. Most of them were posted after I ordered my shoes. Guess I should have checked that first. Live & learn. :headache:

These shoes may be out of style before I get them. :scared1:

Anyone else have an experince with them??

I guess I'm used to shoes.com, shoebuy and zappo's that they ship out the next day.

We are absolutely committed to providing the best, quality customer care. That doesn't necessarily mean every customer is going to be happy, but we try do our very best with each order.

As for Bizrate, yes I admit some of our reviews are less than stellar. I hope you do notice, however, that our Bizrate aggregrate rating is "GOOD" and we've held a near 70% positive rating for the last three months. Trust me when I say that is extremely difficult for a start-up of our size. In the last four weeks alone, we've experienced a 81% increase in business. Adjusting to meet those demands presents an extraordinary challenge, and unfortunately orders have been delayed...but we do fill each and every one.

It's refreshing in this day and age to see that not all companies hide behind anonymous email accounts. I hope that you will be able to get things worked out. :goodvibes
 

Just an update.

I did contact Jeffrey Shain by email. LoveMyShoes is new to selling online and has been overwhelmed. They haven't had enough staff to fill all the orders that they were receiving. They were pulling people from all departments to fill orders. I did suggest that they post something to that effect on their web site and the blog that they have but they haven't done that as yet.
I received an email on Tuesday (4-10) with a tracking number for my order and my order arrived right on schedule yesterday. Not bad considering I ordered 4-2. My issue was not being informed of a delay or a shipping time frame.

The shoes are great. Exactly what I ordered and in perfect shape. I'll most likely give the company another try sometime in the future.

I've kept Jeffrey's information for future reference.

I emailed Jeffrey and thanked him for taking the time to address my concerns. I have my shoes, and received my credit from SR so all is well. :thumbsup2
